Jalen Rose and Skip Bayless Teach Us About Credibility
This is why you can't assess performance when you have no credibility in the workplace. You may be knowledgeable, you may be nice and you may understand the business. But when it comes to assessments, performance evaluations and criticism, you better have credibility. Check out the video:
First of all when you criticize others, don't be disrespectful. Second of all, you better be sure you can defend why your background gives you the right to criticize others who play at the highest level of competition in their field. Finally, and most important, don't sell yourself as something you're not when trying to justify your criticism. It may give you an immediate boost, but it will catch up to you eventually.
